Thank you so much for visiting my page. My name is Shannon Robinson, and I am a mixed media artist. I love the beach and it reflects in my artwork.

I have created art most of my life, but it wasn’t until I started experimenting with resign back in 2012 that I know I was hooked!

Inspired by my love of the beach, I use a range of mixed medias and unique techniques to create the appearance of waves and aerial seascapes. I try to emulate nature’s beauty through the use of vibrant colors, fluid movements and organic compositions.

Each painting is created by strategically pouring resin mixed with inks, acrylic paints and pigments onto wood, canvas and house hold items. The paintings are built up layer-by-layer creating an illusion of depth and complexity. The process is a delicate balance of allowing the fluidity of the material to settle on its own, while simultaneously manipulating it to achieve the desired outcome.
